Oklahoma schools seeking computer donations

Tulsa Memorial High School Ms. Pomerantz (Michele Sterling), AP Language & Composition and Senior English teacher, writes: Our school is in need of all types of technology. We are the biggest school in the Tulsa Public district and as part of an urban school district, we rarely have the funds necessary to introduce technology into our curriculum. We have text books that have online tools and power point presentations but we are unable to use them because we don't have the technology necessary to play them! We are struggling to insure that our racially diverse and economically blended student population has access to the technology and learning material that will make them useful citizens and successful students. We are struggling to raise our students' standardized test scores. However, without both the tools and the technology needed to make use of them, we are left with little hope. We have a dedicated staff and high standards for our students. Now, we just need the tools necessary to fulfill them. We would appreciate your help.
