St. Louis
Neighborhood Houses - is a 501(c)3 community-centered, faith-based organization that works to help low-income children and families move toward greater measures of self-fulfillment. Our mission is to strengthen children, families, and communities through neighborhood-centered, faith-based, life-changing programs that create hope and health. Since 1913, Neighborhood Houses has strengthened children by providing stimulating educational opportunities and health services that help them achieve their full potential. We strengthen families by offering health education and screenings, emergency food relief, and family and parenting support services. Neighborhood Houses operates in three of the city's most at-risk communities, providing an after-school program in three community centers and four St. Louis public schools. We will use donated computer equipment to enrich the centers' learning activities for children who attend our after-school and summer camp programs.
