Homecare Workers Training Center provides poverty level individuals with the tools to achieve their full educational and professional potential, while providing quality care to our senior and disabled communities and addressing the critical need for trained nursing staff in long-term care facilities. Through our pioneering efforts to develop a free healthcare career ladder for underprivileged communities, we are improving the lives of California's low-wage caregivers, seniors and persons with disabilities. Through the use of donated computers in our training centers, our students will gain real career skills and obtain real living wages.

San Clemente

LEAVES Military Alliance, Inc - Our work with the servicemembers is all about filling in the gaps the support net for our American Heroes. We are finding ourselves often slowed/prevented in our support due to our reliance on an overloaded, bugfulled 1995 desktop. We need a PC (pentium 4 or better) laptop (ideally 2, one for each working staff member) so that we can help servicemembers more often on the spot, rather than having to drive them to a location with a computer. Common tasks include editing/uploading photos for deployed heroes, internet research on plane tickets or Hero Adventure requests, document creation and email. If you can help, please email Jeanne Panossian or phone 949-276-8293.

Our social service staff and administrative staff are in need of some up-to-date computers to more efficiently run our offices and provide reports to county social workers, maintain schedules, organize fundraisers, and prepare many of the support services for our residents. If you are able to help, please email Amber Davies or call 714-730-0930 x29. We would be able to provide you with a receipt for your generous donation. Thank you.
