Kramden Institute - is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable institution whose mission is to empower hardworking, less-advantaged students by giving them home computers, allowing them to bridge the digital divide and advance their achievement, strengthening their contribution to the community. We do this by collecting, refurbishing, and reusing computers, extending their useful lives.
North Carolina - Triangle United Way's Teaming for Technology is dedicated to the hard work required to bridge the digital divide in North Carolina by providing refurbished computers, training and technical assistance to schools, nonprofits and the communities they serve. We aim to help non-profits, schools, and individuals achieve their goals for success.
Recycles.Org is a national exchange network hosting the Nonprofit Computer Recycling and Reuse Network and the Nonprofit Materials Exchange Network. Computer Recycling and Reuse is where they started and is still at the heart of their service. Students in Training, Inc. - is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides free upgraded computers for those in need as well as offering low-cost technology services, and computers to benefit the community. and providing environmentally sound solution for technological waste. This year to date SIT has refurbished over 400 computers for the needy and responsibly recycled over 29 Tons of unusable E-Waste hardware.
