Requests for computer donations from disabled individuals

Your donation could improve the life of someone with a disability.

A donated computer and access to the internet could enable an individual with limited mobility to communicate easily and economically with friends, family members, and caregivers regardless of their geographic locations.

Children with disabilities could benefit from increased educational opportunities available through the world wide web and disabled adults might be able to continue their professional careers by working at home.

All these people could benefit if only they had a dependable computer, but many are simply unable to afford to purchase even a basic computer system. That's where you come in. Your gift could literally be a lifesaver for another person.

Unfortunately, individuals can not provide receipts donors can use for tax purposes. In spite of this, we urge you to consider passing along your recently retired computer system to an individual who could benefit greatly from your help. You may decide helping someone in need is more important than being able to take a small tax deduction.
